Happy Halloween
Here is an easy to make classroom party favor that kids will love and use.

The first thing you need is a package of pencils, coffee filters, a black marker, thin ribbon, and some candy.
For my candy I used Rolos, you need something head shaped for the ghost, their are a lot of different kinds of candy that will work for this.

The second thing you need to do, especially if you plan to make several of these is to cut your ribbon into 6 in lengths, this will save time and agrivation when you start. After that you will want to separate your coffee filters into sets of two. ( The reason I use two coffee filters for each ghost instead of one is that one coffee filter is to sheer to hide the candy .)

The third step is pretty easy just hold the candy on top of the pencil and place the coffee filter over that. I usually twist it around the pencil once before tying it on with the ribbon. It is not necessary to tie a bow just a double knot will do, cut the ribbon down so that only an inch sticks out from the ghost.

For the final touch, take a marker and give your ghost a face, it can be sad, mad, happy or spooky that is entirely up to you. Once that's done they are ready to hand out, a sweet treat and a pencil they can lose or use in the weeks to come.

Happy crafting.
